Meet Our Team
Kevin Davies
Managing Director
Kevin started his working life as an Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician in 1985 with Mazda and progressed to Supervisor at 21 years old. He then joined a local Mercedes main dealer as Workshop Controller and progressed to Service Manager in 2000, overseeing a team of over 40.
Kevin identified an opportunity in the market with block exemption and customers able to source more affordable service and repairs.
Kevin and business partner Tony opened Prestige Servicing in 2006.
Tony Hunter
Director
Tony started out with a local Mercedes main dealer straight from school as an Apprentice Technician. He worked at a local Mercedes dealer for the next 13 years and attended many Mercedes training courses.
Tony specialises in electrical diagnosis, multimedia and the latest technology within the Mercedes Benz brand.
Tony founded Prestige with Kevin in 2006.
Jane Davies
Company Secretary
Jane’s background is in engineering and she has been with Prestige since we opened in 2006.
As well as internal procedures, administration and accounts, Jane will be around with a warm welcome to check you in for your service or repair when you arrive.
Adelle Ferguson
Adelle started out in travel and tourism, she then joined the team at Prestige in 2015. You’ll often find Adelle at the end of the phone when you call or at the Service Reception when you arrive.
David Mather
David also started out at a local Mercedes dealer as an apprentice where he worked for 6 years. Dave then left Teesside for the bright lights of the capital where he advanced his Mercedes training over 4 years at a London main dealer. Dave then returned to Teesside Mercedes and completed many Mercedes training courses.
He joined Prestige in 2008 and was the first Technician to complete the Mercedes training and examination to become a Diagnostic Technician.
James Davies
James joined Prestige in July 2010 as an apprentice, where he completed his NVQ level 3.
He now has over 15 years’ experience working on Mercedes vehicles. He spends his free time following Middlesbrough FC and travelling.
John Perry
John joined Prestige in 2019 from Jennings Ford, where he started as an apprentice in 1988. He has completed many training courses over the years and reached the level of Master technician with Ford.
As Jennings was taken over by a large corporate company John and his son, Jordan, decided to join Prestige Servicing.
He has adapted his skills to the Mercedes brand and has also completed EV training with Prestige Servicing.
Jordan Perry
Jordan is John’s eldest son who started working with John at Jennings Ford as an apprentice, Jordan joined at the same time as his Father in 2019.
Jordan has also adapted his Ford knowledge to the Mercedes product. He also works in a great partnership with his Father which is a great advantage to Prestige Servicing when our customers are waiting for a service or repair, we complete in half the time, it also works well with the larger repairs such as removing and exchanging major units. They are almost telepathic.
Andy Best
Andy joined Prestige Servicing in 2025, previously to this he worked for the local BMW dealer. Prior to BMW Andy spent many years working for another local family independent business.
Lewis Rawlinson
Lewis is the newest member of Prestige Servicing, he joined form the local Mercedes dealer in a new roll for us as a Parts and Service adviser. He has completed his level NVQ 3 in Parts and also Motor vehicles.
